Per Diem – Graphics in Time by Sonnenzimmer

The book design for Per Diem: Graphics in Time presents 16 years of work by Sonnenzimmer, bringing together commissioned and self-initiated projects created between approximately 2005 and 2019. Across 1,000 pages, paintings, artworks, posters, record covers, quilts, logos, writings, objects and sculptures form an extensive archive of a studio practice in which art and design continually intersect. A carefully structured sequence transforms this wide-ranging body of work into a comprehensive reference, while tracing Sonnenzimmer’s evolving approach to graphic expression within a changing media and cultural landscape.
